A Bank Statement is a document that shows all the transactions that have happened in a bank account within a specific time.

Bank statements are an essential source document to keep for Taxation purposes but also to complete the Bank Reconciliation process in the Accounting package to ensure the bank balance in the Accounting system matches the bank’s records correctly. This task should be completed monthly, Bank Statements can be arranged with the Bank to close monthly on the last day of the month.

In order to download a Statement from ANZ, your Online Banking profile must be set up for electronic statement. Contact Westpac Customer Services on 13 13 14 if the ability to download Statements is not available in your Banking Portal.

Download Bank Statements

1. Log into ANZ Online Banking
   
   è  The ANZ Online Portal
   
   
   
   
2. Click on [View statements]
   
   è  The View Statements screen
   
   
   
   
3. Select the Bank Account and click on Download next to the Statement you wish to download
   
   è  The Statement opens in PDF view
   
   
   
   
4. Save the Statement on your Computer
