Typically a period is locked after key financial obligations are lodged to the ATO. Locking a period means not allowing users to create, edit or void transactions dated before the locked date. Lock Dates can only be accessed by users on a Status of Advisor. Xero has two types of Lock Dates:
Set up and Remove Lock Dates
