How to grant access to apps to a specific team member in practice protect [sop]

Access to some Applications in Practice Protect is automatically granted to all users. However, access to certain Apps may only be granted to certain Team Members.

To grant access to an application to a specific Team Member:

  1. From the Practice Protect Admin Centre select the [Apps] > [Web Apps] Tab from the Sidebar Menu

    è  The Web Apps screen opens



  2. Search for the application you wish to grant to the new user and open it

    è  The Application screen opens



  3. Select the [Permissions] Tab
  4. Click on [Add]



  5. Search for the Team Member(s) and select them from the list
  6. Click on [Add] > [Save]

    è  The App will appear on the User's Practice Protect Desktop

If the Application has a Common Username and Password

  1. Select the [Users] Tab from the Sidebar Menu

    è  The Users screen opens



  2. Select the User

    è  The Users screen opens



  3. Click on [Add]

    è  The Select an Application pop-up screen opens



  4. Search for the App from the list, then select it and click on [Save]

    è  The Setting User Name and Password pop-up screen opens



  5. Type the App's User Name and Password and click on [OK]

If the Application has a unique username and password created by the user

  1. From the User's Practice Protect Desktop App click on the application tile

    è  A Warning message is displayed


  2. Click on [Yes]

    è  The Application Settings screen opens


  3. Type the User Name and Password and click on [Save]

    è  Practice Protect will log you into the relevant app
  4. Make sure you are logged in successfully
