Application Requirements

 

To be able to apply for the 2021 COVID-19 NSW Business Grant, you need to have the following information and documentation available:

  • An Active MyServiceNSW Account;
  • Two current proof of identity documents, which may include:
    • Australian Drivers License
    • Medicare Card
    • Australian passport
    • Australian Birth Certificate
    • Australian travel visa
    • Australian citizenship certificate
    • Australian certificate of registration by descent
    • Australian ImmiCard
  • The Bank Account details you would like to receive the Grant Payment from Service NSW;
  • The Turnover amount for the assessed period for 2021 and 2019;
  • A copy of the Income Tax Assessment Return for the 2020 Financial Year (Notice of Assessment);
  • The letter of evidence provided by either Evolution Cloud Accounting or your Accountant.

 

Application Process

  1. Go to https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/2021-covid-19-business-grant
  2. Click on [Apply online]
  3. Log in with your MyServiceNSW Account

    è  The Verify Identify screen opens

  4. Select the Service NSW Terms & Conditions
  5. Upload your Proof Identity documents, click on [Provide Driver License]or [Check Document]
    Note: If you opted to save your identity documents in your MyService NSW Account, you will only need to check the documents and you will skip straight to the Eligibility section

  6. Enter your Driver License details and click on [Continue]

    è  The Verify your Medicare Card screen opens



  7. Enter your Medicare Card details and click on [Continue]
    Note: if you don't have a Medicare Card, click on Use a different document
  8. Click on [Continue Application]

    è  Business Eligibility 


  9. Enter/search your Business ABN and select it from the pop-up result

    è  Your business details are confirmed on the screen



  10. Enter the Registered Business Address
  11. Complete the eligibility questions and click on [Next]

  12. Confirm that your Business suffered a decline in turnover of at least 30% and enter the turnover amount for the 2021 and 2019 Financial Years and click on [Next]
    Note: 
    Service NSW will calculate the decline in turnover percentage

    è  Registered Agent Information


  13. Provide your Registered Agent Details
    • BAS/Tax Agent Name > Type: Evolution Cloud Accounting (or your Accountant's name, if they have prepared the letter of evidence)
    • BAS/Tax Agent Phone Number > Type either: 0402 479 497 or your Accountant's contact number
  14. Upload the following documents:
    Note: you can upload a maximum of 7 files, accepted file formats include: PDF, Word Files and Jpeg, maximum 7MB each.

    • FY 2020 Income Tax Return (Notice of Assessment)
    • Letter of Evidence
  15. Click on [Next]

  16. Enter your Bank Account details and click on [Next]

  17. Review the Application, select the Grant Terms and Conditions and click on [Submit]
