Australian Businesses are required to keep proof of purchases for any purchases over $82.50 inclusive of GST. A proof of purchase is a document which contains specific information; this normally comes in a format of a Receipt or a Tax Invoice. Australian Businesses are required to issue tax invoices within 28 days from the date the service has been provided.

Generally, invoices are either printed or emailed, however a number of Businesses also provide online portals where clients can access and download copies of all their invoices.

MYOB

MYOB is a provider of accounting software and payment solutions. MYOB bills clients monthly. Clients receive monthly invoices via email but can also access invoices via the my.myob portal.

To be able to download invoices from the MYOB portal your user must be set up as one of your MYOB Company File owners. Otherwise, the option to download invoices is not available. Contact MYOB on 1300 555 123, if you can't see the option to view invoices.
