How to download invoices from the microsoft portal [online invoices]

Australian Businesses are required to keep proof of purchases for any purchases over $82.50 inclusive of GST. A proof of purchase is a document which contains specific information; this normally comes in a format of a Receipt or a Tax Invoice. Australian Businesses are required to issue tax invoices within 28 days from the date the service has been provided.

Generally, invoices are either printed or emailed, however a number of Businesses also provide online portals where clients can access and download copies of all their invoices.

Office365

Office365 is the Microsoft Office Cloud Version, users who subscribe to Office365 have access to the Microsoft Office suite, plus additional Microsoft Applications. Office365 is sold on a monthly plan subscription. Subscription prices vary depending on the number of applications purchased. Clients receive monthly invoices via email but can also access invoices via the Office365 portal.

Note: To be able to access the billing section of the Office365 Portal the user must be the company’s Office 365 Global Admin or be nominated as a Billing Admin.

  1. From your web browser, go to the Microsoft Office Portal: at: https://portal.office.com

  2. Sign in with your Microsoft username and password

  3. Click on the Admin icon

  4. Click on Billing > Bills & Payments
  5. From the Bills & Payments screen you can download your Microsoft Invoices
  6. Select the invoice you wish to download

  7. Click on Download to PDF

    è  The Microsoft invoice is downloaded to your Download folder
