A Bank Statement is a document that shows all the transactions that have happened in a bank account within a specific time.

Bank statements are an essential source document to keep for Taxation purposes but also to complete the Bank Reconciliation process in the Accounting package to ensure the bank balance in the Accounting system matches the bank’s records correctly. This task should be completed monthly, Bank Statements can be arranged with the Bank to close monthly on the last day of the month.

Download Bank Statements

1. Log into NAB Online Banking
   
   è  The NAB Online Screen
   
   
   
   
2. From the [Accounts] Tab, click on Account statements
   
   è  The Account statements Screen opens
   
   
   
   
3. Select/Enter the following details:
   • Account > Select the Bank Account
   • Date Range > Select either a Statement period or Custom date range
     Note: if you select Custom date range, you will need to specify the Statement from and to dates 
4. Click on [Search]
   
   è  The Bank Statements' list appears on the View or download your statements pane
   
   
   
   
5. Select the Statements you wish to Download and click on [Download]
   
   è  The Bank Statements' download to your Download folder
