Australian Businesses are required to keep proof of purchases for any purchases over $82.50 inclusive of GST. A proof of purchase is a document which contains specific information; this normally comes in a format of a Receipt or a Tax Invoice. Australian Businesses are required to issue tax invoices within 28 days from the date the service has been provided.

Generally, invoices are either printed or emailed, however a number of Businesses also provide online portals where clients can access and download copies of all their invoices.

Telstra

Telstra is a provider of both phone and internet services. Telstra bills clients monthly, invoices are either posted to the client address or emailed, Telstra invoices can also be retrieved via their online account portal.

1. From your web browser, go to the My Telstra Portal at: https://www.myservices.telstra.com.au

2. Log in using your username and password
   Note: you can also use your Telstra ID

3. To download your current bill click on Download PDF bill

4. To view older bills click on View past bills

5. To access past bills, you can either select the relevant month on the graph bar and click Download PDF bill or scroll down through the bill history and click on Download PDF bill next to the bill(s) you need to download
