How to export a qif/csv file [CBA]

CBA Netbank online banking allows users to export their bank transactions in a variety of file formats.

QIF and CSV files are both compatible file types to import into Xero as historical bank feed transactions. The QIF file format is also compatible with MYOB Essentials and AccountRight Web Browser.

Export the csv/qif file

  1. Log into CBA Netbank Online Banking

    è  The Netbank Online Screen



  2. Click on [View Accounts] > Transactions

    è  The Account Transactions screen opens



  3. Click on [Dates] and select the period of the transactions you want to export

    è  The Dates Filter screen



  4. Click on [Search]

    è  The Account Transactions screen



  5. Click on Export

    è  The Select a file type screen opens



  6. Select either CSV or QIF (MYOB) and click on [Export]
    Note: select QIF (MYOB) even if you wish to import the qif file in Xero

    è  The csv/qif file downloads into your Download folder
