How to lodge a payment instruction [ato sbsch]

If you use the ATO Super Clearing House to make Superannuation Contributions, you will need to lodge a Payment Instruction and then make the payment via Bpay from your Internet Banking. Please note, you can only lodge one Payment Instruction at a time, once the Payment Instruction is completed (the Payment has been received by the ATO Super Clearing House), you can then lodge a new Payment Instruction.

Lodge a Payment Instruction

  1. Log into Online Services for Business using your username, password and MyGovID

    è  Online Services for Business



  2. Go to Employees > Small Business Super Clearing House

    è  The Small Business Superannuation Clearing House screen opens

  3. Make sure all your Employees have been added to the Super Clearing House, if not, add all new Employees
  4. Select the [Payment instructions] Tab and click on [Add]

  5. Type the Superannuation contribution dates

    è  The Employee List screen is displayed

  6. Click on the first Employee name

    è  The Employee Super details are displayed



  7. Enter the Employee super payable amounts broken down by:
    • Super guarantee
    • Additional employer
    • Salary Sacrifice
    • Employee voluntary (post-tax contribution)
  8. Do not select the option: Save this amount for the next instructions
  9. Click on [Save]
  10. Repeat the above steps for each Employee
  11. Once you have entered all the Employees' Superannuation payable amounts, click on [Submit]

    è  The Payment Instruction confirmation screen opens


  12. Click on [Print-friendly version] print the Payment Instruction confirmation and use the Payment details to process the payment from your Internet Banking via Bpay
