Hubdoc provides users with the option to disable Two-Factor Authentication. A User may want to disable 2FA, if they decide to change the authentication app (i.e. from Google authenticator to Authy), or if they have changed their smart device. Changing your Smart Device It is important that before a user switches to a new device (i.e. smartphone) that they first disable Two-Factor Authentication in the previous device to be able to re-enable it in the new device. If the previous device has been discarded, lost or broken, and Hubdoc prompts the user to enter a code to log in, then the User's Recovery Key must be used. This is provided when a new Hubdoc User sets up Two-Factor Authentication for the first time. If the user has replaced their smart device and also lost the Recovery Key, the Recovery Key can be retrieved by logging into Hubdoc using Xero Sign-in details (as Hubdoc has Single-Sign-On with Xero). After they re-obtained the Recovery Key, they can disable Two-Factor Authentication and then re-enable it through the new smart device. Find the Recovery Key
