After you have installed your ScanSnap IX scanner, you will need to register a ScanSnap account with Fujitsu.

Registering a ScanSnap account is free and can be done through the ScanSnap Home app installed on your computer.

Registering a ScanSnap Account

  1. Open your ScanSnap Home software installed on your computer
  2. Click on Settings > Preferences
  3. Select the [Account] Tab

  4. Click on the option If an account is not registered Click Here

    è  The ScanSnap account registration screen opens on your default browser


  5. Click on [ScanSnap account registration]
  6. Agree to the Scansnap Account Registration Policy and Confirm the Privacy Notice

  7. Type your email address and create a password. Then click on [Send]

    è  The ScanSnap account registration - enter the confirmation code screen opens, and an email with a confirmation code is sent to you


  8. Enter the confirmation code from your email and click on [Confirm code]
  9. Agree to the ScanSnap Cloud terms of service, then choose whether or not you want to receive promotional emails from Fujitsu Australia

    è  The ScanSnap account registration is complete
