Australian Businesses are required to keep proof of purchases for any purchases over $82.50 inclusive of GST. A proof of purchase is a document which contains specific information; this normally comes in a format of a Receipt or a Tax Invoice. Australian Businesses are required to issue tax invoices within 28 days from the date the service has been provided.

Generally, invoices are either printed or emailed, however a number of Businesses also provide online portals where clients can access and download copies of all their invoices.

Europcar

Europcar is one of the largest car rental businesses in the world. Europcar issues an invoice for the car rental when the hired vehicle is returned to one of their locations. Once issued, invoice copies are available for download on the Europcar Customer Portal.

3. Click on the PDF icon next to the invoice you wish to download

4. Download the Invoice PDF to your computer
